Time Heals, Is This True?

A thought that I always did not feel right.

Yesterday I had this insight; why it does not sound true to me.

To heal we need to be actively engaged in the process. Healing is proportional to our participation in the healing process.

Healing happens when we face the trauma or the problem, work with it, turn it into a lesson and grow.

Only then it is healed and transforms from a scar to a beauty mark.

Why?

Because we stepped up, we showed up, we worked with our thoughts, changed how we perceive the situation and we started taking new actions, i.e. actively participated in changing.

When we leave it to time, what happens is it is just buried so the pain feels less.

That’s a universal law that respects our choices and helps life go on but surely does not allow healing.
